Step 1: Compatibility call

We have an in-depth chat for up to a 90 minutes about what you need, why you’ve got in touch, and how I can help you. Think of this as a polite, two way grilling to see if we’re compatible. I’ll do my research beforehand but I’ll be looking to confirm, dispel and expand on it. If you have a brief, we can start with that, if you don’t we’ll create a great one by the end of this call. This step is free.

Step 2: Ideation

If you’re still interested, I’ll spend up to 48 hours drafting ideas of what I’d do to help solve your problem. For example, if you want a blog post written, I’ll write an outline of what it would look like (with detailed explanations) if I was to write it. I then send this to you to get your opinion. This step is also free.

Step 3: The dotted line

If you like what you see, great, we agree on final terms and sign the contract. It’s showtime for me, peace of mind time for you. If you don’t, there are no hard feelings, no one is suitable for everyone :) I wish you high conversation rates and low bounce rates. Maybe we’ll get a chance to work together another time.

Step 4: Work, work, work, work, work

I roll my sleeves up (if it’s winter/autumn) and work on my first attempt to impress you, and myself.

Step 5: A short game of feedback tennis

The compatibility call will help to make this a short game. I’ll send my first attempt to wow you in within the agreed time frame. Then after a few tweaks it’s onto step 6…

Step 6: “Wow, thanks Ash”

The final sign off from you and all your stakeholders. Mission accomplished. If you’d like to skip straight to Stage 2 or 3 that works too.
